Markham had been a bit stale in the new home market until Trendi came along. Featuring urban models with two-car garage options, Trendi was geared towards young, growing families seeking a modern product inspired by downtown Toronto, but in a convenient 905 location. Marketing focused on two main visuals: the rendering of the product, and a beautiful woman in stylish clothing. A chic and sophisticated campaign spanned digital and traditional media, making Trendi stand out on signage, in mailboxes, and mobile/desktop screens.
Trendi sold out its first two phases during a declining market in 2017/2018. Nominated for Peoples’ Choice Award and Low Rise Project of the Year at the 2018 BILD Awards.
